TI recommends using a ceramic capacitor with a value of at least 0.01 µF. 10 Layout 10.1 Layout Guidelines Magnetic fields pass through most nonferromagnetic materials with no significant disturbance. Embedding Hall effect sensors within plastic or aluminum enclosures and sensing magnets on the outside is common practice.
