If VIN_LIN < VOUT_LIN(NOM) + 100mV (100mV hysteresis), the startup LDO (IMAX = 50mA) is active, supplied from VBATT. For example in the typical post regulation application the LDO will remain in startup mode until the DC-DC converter has ramped up its output voltage. These devices have limited built-in ESD protection. The leads should be shorted together or the device placed in conductive foam during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to the MOS gates. (5) 260°C ESD Rating (6) Human Body Model: 2.0kV Machine Model 200V (1) Absolute Maximum Ratings indicate limits beyond which damage to the component may occur. Operating Ratings are conditions under which operation of the device is guaranteed. Operating Ratings do not imply guaranteed performance limits. For guaranteed performance limits and associated test conditions, see the Electrical Characteristics tables. (2) All voltages are with respect to the potential at the SGND pin. (3) If Military/Aerospace specified devices are required, please contact the Texas Instruments Sales Office/ Distributors for availability and specifications. (4) Internal thermal shutdown circuitry protects the device from permanent damage. Thermal shutdown engages at TJ = 160°C (typ.) and disengages at TJ = 140°C (typ.). (5) For detailed soldering specifications and information, please refer to Application Note 1112: DSBGA Wafer Level Chip Scale Package SNVA009. (6) The Human body model is a 100pF capacitor discharged through a 1.5k Ω resistor into each pin. The machine model is a 200pF capacitor discharged directly into each pin.
